They did it after 911 regarding air quality and radiation danger. Hundreds of first-responders are now suffering the consequences of government deception (EPA). Nobody has been held accountable.

When the scientific community (not owned by the government or BP) sounds WARNINGS, it's prudent not to ignore them! If you must eat shrimp, eat shrimp from Thailand. Toxins are not visible. Only tests and significant sampling are reliable indicators of lurking dangers. Why take any risks with your health? Shrimp fishermen are not the most reliable sources of information - they have a vested interest and they are not scientists!GodSendhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12432778216105850183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6571217448396416517.post-55054027332556570972010-08-10T19:26:45.796-05:002010-08-10T19:26:45.796-05:00I've seen these shrimp. It is very hard to believe that these shrimp are tainted. I would like to believe that my husband knows best and that his shrimp guy knows what is safe and not. I just don't know.... I am not out in the water and the pictures on this blog don't look anything like the shrimp I see. I am not doubting this blog. I am just so traumatized and detached. I am 25 miles from the coast and feel that the gulf catastrophe is surreal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6571217448396416517.post-18888495497195306872010-08-10T08:48:45.343-05:002010-08-10T08:48:45.343-05:00Why would anyone in their right mind eat a Gulf sh...Why would anyone in their right mind eat a Gulf shrimp? Why would anyone eat ANY shrimp unless they are certain it's not a Gulf shrimp? Have you seen the oysters they got out of the Gulf lately? (black and dead). Repeat the above, replacing "shrimp" with "fish".

Why would anyone in their right mind trust our CRIMINAL Federal government after witnessing their LIES about 911 since 9/11/2001???

If you (still) have a functioning brain, USE IT!GodSendhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12432778216105850183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6571217448396416517.post-42823873725839925952010-08-10T01:51:43.169-05:002010-08-10T01:51:43.169-05:00Pensacola, just west of Tallahassee...where the ol...Pensacola, just west of Tallahassee...where the oldest, deepest, largest aquifer in the world is, with warm springs and over 100,000 miles of connections throughout Florida and to the north.

I am struggling with the lack of reasoning, in consideration of multiple funding for such interests, including NOAA and the EPA, as to why no efforts have ever (?)been at those depths and temperatures to evaluate oil and chemical dispersant activity/reaction. We certainly have found a way to simulate wave motion and its effects.

I've long held, even a week after the explosion and oil gushing, that contamination at that depth and sea life would be greatly affected, that leeching underground would take place, ground water would be contaminated and carried into households...and yet, nothing has been said until now? And why have we not heard from our water source providers as to whether their filtration's will not be affected? Well, how would they know?

I'm outraged that the EPA had to fight to get the complete chemical compounds of the three Corexit combinations that were used...so WHERE is NOAA's testing results? Where are the lab results on sea life contamination? Why are they holding back with the Corexit results?

We've a long long road on this one and I believe that as time goes on, the devastation will be as most felt, remarkable and quite possible no recovery in sight. Our Gulf and all those states, and lives and livelihoods are forever changed while many have been destroyed..Panehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04939527860700034366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6571217448396416517.post-2102142890718052122010-08-09T21:12:00.340-05:002010-08-09T21:12:00.340-05:00Hey, your thoughts please.....

I went to Delcambre and they are selling shrimp right at the docks as usual. They did this each day of the season before the oil spill. The shrimpers are saying the shrimp are safe. I don't believe it. Do you? Are there any safe areas to fish in? Are the shrimpers being made to lie to do the "jaws" cover up thing?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
